Key Responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibilities of the customer service specialist are to respond to customer queries, process orders and invoices, escalate complaints received, ensure order fulfillment, participate in inventory count when needed.
  • Be the primary support to customers by supporting all customer enquiries such as:
  • Product and service information, pricing quotations.
  • Order management (from receipt to post-delivery support.
  • Triaging inquiries into internal cross-functional teams for resolution.
  • Process order through ERP system.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams as well as third party logistics providers on order delivery.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate order invoices and timely receivables.
  • Support field sales and coordinate logistics for marketing activities such as tradeshows and conferences.
  • Represent the Customer Service function in cross-functional projects.
  • Updating/documenting of process required for Customer Service function.
  • Support office administration as required.
  • Involve or lead projects and assignments as part of the professional development opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education and above.
  • 3 years' experience in customer service/order management.
  • Experience in import/export/trade compliance requirements.
  • Professional, high motivation to succeed, focused, analytical and resourceful in problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently to achieve defined goals
  • Ability to work well within a global, cross functional team
  • Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate different work schedules when necessary.
  • Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and Salesforce.com
  • Proficient in Japanese and English in listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Able to make occasional business-related travel.
