About the Opportunity

An innovative and growing healthcare diagnostics organisation is looking for an experienced commercial leader to drive its international partner and distribution business. This role offers the opportunity to shape global growth strategy, lead cross-border commercial teams, and expand market presence through a well-established network of channel partners.

The position will suit a strategic sales leader with experience in diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or related healthcare sectors who enjoys balancing commercial leadership with hands-on business development.

The Role

As Director of International Commercial Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance across distributor-led markets worldwide. You will work closely with regional partners, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to develop sustainable growth plans, strengthen channel engagement, and maximise market opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing international channel growth strategies.
  • Managing commercial performance, revenue targets, and profitability across global partner markets.
  • Leading and developing international commercial teams.
  • Building strong relationships with distributors, strategic accounts, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and driving expansion initiatives.
  • Enhancing sales effectiveness through improved forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial processes.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, regulatory, operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Supporting complex tender processes and large-scale commercial opportunities.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious commercial leader who combines strategic vision with a strong track record of delivering results.

You will ideally have:

  • Significant experience in diagnostics, pathology, life sciences, medical technology, or a related healthcare sector.
  • A successful background managing international distributor or indirect sales channels.
  • Experience owning commercial targets, revenue growth, and business performance.
  • A proven ability to lead and motivate geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, negotiation, and market development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • A data-driven approach to decision making and sales management.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
