Role: Engineering Manager

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana (on-site)

Salary: $135k-$150k

EPM is partnered with a well-established and growing medical device manufacturer seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a critical team at one of their key manufacturing sites in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for driving engineering performance, supporting new product introductions, improving manufacturing processes, and developing a team of engineers in a fast-paced regulated environment. The position plays a significant role in site strategy and will have a direct impact on operational performance, product quality, and business growth.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in manufacturing including leadership experience
  • Strong CNC machining experience needed
  • Experience in a medical device environment (orthopedics preferred)
  • New Product Introduction (NPI)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers, NPI Managers, CNC Programmers, and Product Development Engineers

  • Drive successful new product launches
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, QMS, and regulatory standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial teams
  • Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) during product development and quoting phases
