Our client, a rapidly growing rare diseases biotech, is rethinking global commercialisation and physician engagement strategy and is seeking a Vice President Physician Engagement to play a pivotal leadership role. This is a permanent position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to shape how innovative therapies are introduced and supported across complex markets while partnering closely with commercial and medical stakeholders as part of our client's team.
Role Overview
As Vice President Physician Engagement, you will lead the design and execution of a forward-thinking commercial strategy that places physicians at the heart of rare disease therapy adoption. You will leverage your advanced problem-solving capabilities and success gained outside of pharmaceuticals to bring fresh, data-driven perspectives into biotech.
Key Skills and Experience
- Commercial Strategy - Develop and refine physician-centric go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and long-term engagement in rare disease markets.
- Commercial Expertise - Translate market insights into concrete commercial initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and measurable impact.
- Non-Pharmaceuticals Sector Experience - Apply or rapidly adapt your knowledge to the unique dynamics of the pharmaceutical and biotech environment, especially in rare diseases.
- USA Market Focus - Navigate the U.S. healthcare and regulatory landscape to optimize physician engagement and commercial outcomes.
