EHS Engineer (Commissioning)
We are supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Athlone and are looking to speak with experienced EHS professionals to support both ongoing operations and site expansion activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support site EHSS programmes and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits and safety reviews.
- Support contractor management and permit-to-work systems.
- Participate in incident investigations and CAPA activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture across site.
- Provide EHSS support to manufacturing, engineering and project teams.
- Support construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities where required.
EHS Specialist
Requirements
- 3-5 years' EHSS experience.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting engineering projects, equipment installation or commissioning activities is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, contractor management and EHSS compliance.
Senior EHS Professional
Requirements
- 10+ years' EHSS experience.
- Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, compliance and management systems.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, site expansions or capital projects.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive a positive safety culture.
Preferred Experience
- Pharma, biotech or med dev manufacturing.
- Construction, commissioning or start-up activities.
- Contractor management and permit-to-work systems.
- HAZOP, PSSR or operational readiness activities.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification.
