Clinical Budget & Fair Market Value Analyst
- Building study and site budgets using clinical protocols, market data and internal tools
- Reviewing site budget requests and assessing costs against fair market value benchmarks
- Supporting site budget negotiations with clear financial analysis and recommendations
- Preparing budget documentation and negotiation packages
- Managing financial records and maintaining accurate study information within clinical systems
- Partnering with clinical, legal and operational stakeholders to support site activation activities
- Identifying financial, operational or compliance risks and escalating where appropriate
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in line with relevant regulations, quality standards and internal procedures
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years' experience supporting clinical research activities
- Exposure to clinical trial sites, site start-up activities or investigator budget management
- Experience working with CTMS and electronic trial documentation systems
- Strong analytical skills and confidence handling detailed financial information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a busy clinical portfolio
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English language skills
- Direct experience developing or negotiating clinical study budgets
- Knowledge of fair market value methodologies
- Experience using Grants Manager or similar budgeting platforms
- Familiarity with medical coding frameworks
- Experience supporting international clinical research programmes
