Category Manager Capital Projects Procurement
You will be responsible for:
- Leading procurement activities for capital projects, including construction services, engineering support and technical equipment
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with project and business objectives
- Managing tenders, supplier selection, negotiations and contract awards
- Overseeing the end-to-end procurement process and supplier performance
- Building strong supplier relationships and identifying new sourcing opportunities
- Partnering with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Project teams
- Monitoring market trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or a related field
- Several years of procurement experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience sourcing construction services, capital equipment or technical categories
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools
- Fluent German and English
