About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading provider of laboratory instrumentation, liquid handling technologies, and workflow solutions supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, clinical, and research laboratories. They are seeking a Capital Equipment Sales Specialist to drive territory growth across the Northeast.

This is a consultative, customer-facing sales role focused on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and helping scientists and laboratory teams implement solutions that improve laboratory productivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a portfolio of laboratory instrumentation, liquid handling systems, consumables, and service offerings.

  • Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle from lead generation through close.

  • Partner with distributors and channel partners to maximize market penetration and territory performance.

  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events throughout the territory.

  • Collaborate with technical, service, and support teams to ensure a strong customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline preferred.

  • 3+ years of sales experience selling capital equipment, laboratory instrumentation, scientific products, or related solutions.

  • Experience selling into pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, research, or clinical laboratory environments.

  • Strong consultative selling, territory management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Hands-on laboratory experience or familiarity with liquid handling, automation, or laboratory workflows is highly preferred.

  • Ability to travel throughout the territory with occasional overnight travel.
